The Open.Tech 6U VPX SOSA-Aligned Ethernet Switch is a rugged, high-speed Layer 2/3 managed switch designed to meet the demands of next-generation C5ISR, SIGINT, EW, and sensor fusion systems. Built on the VITA 91 profile and fully SOSA-aligned, it delivers up to 10.4 Tbps of switching throughput across 216 or 240 channels, supporting both 25G and 50G Ethernet over fiber.
This VPX switch is available in two configurations:
Designed for OpenVPX systems in harsh environments, the switch supports conduction or air cooling, operates from -40°C to +85°C, and is engineered to meet stringent shock, vibration, altitude, and EMI requirements. Its robust mechanical design includes MIL-grade extraction levers, wedgelocks, and SOSA-compliant MIL-HD2 connectors with a 1.80mm pitch and support for 56Gb/s PAM4 signaling.
