The iDC-6850 8-band RFDC is a 1 inch pitch, conduction cooled, VPX circuit card assembly per VITA 48.2. The RFDC contains a full spectrum, non-blocking RF Down Conversion Module (DCM). The DCM provides RF to IF conversion, pre-selection, and gain equalization. The DCM has 3 RF input ports and 8 IF output ports. Each DCM accepts an RF input ranging from 2 GHz to 18 GHz and provides output signals over the IF frequency range of 0.75 GHz to 2.75 GHz
